This is just a quick update, before I get warmed up to talk about the Germany trip with Seamus and Gilbert. While we were gone, Porter and Harlan made a trip to the lake. They had fun, we had fun.
I’ve been sick from Sunday on, even really trying to rest and get better, but tough going. Patrick tried to say it came on because of my trip, but I know better. The two little boys were snot monkeys on Friday and Saturday, and they were ALL OVER ME. Seamus also ended up sick, but I think that might have had more to do with playing soccer in the pouring rain on Saturday…
On to more fun things:
1. Porter’s had a few playdates with his friend, and he just loves having her over. They play Robin Hood, Peter Pan, barn, stufffed animals, and in the back yard, swinging and basketball. It’s so fun to watch his personality develop around his friends.
2. Harlan has graduated from his booster seat at the table. This is both good and bad, as it means he can get up and down and spill stuff. It makes him feel super big and part of the family though.
I’m having trouble uploading pictures to the blog. Grr. I guess this will have to suffice. I’m going to get in the groove of writing again, promise.
